The Garden at West Green House opens

For 2009

OPEN DAYS 12noon - 5.00pm

JUNE 21st - a mid summer garden

JULY 19th - a summer day in the garden

SEPTEMBER 27th - the garden at its most colourful - dahlias, asters, sedums, berries, crab apples.

NOVEMBER 25th to DECEMBER 13th - Christmas Fair at West Green House Gardens. Open Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. 11am to 4pm.

Groups are welcome from the beginning of May until the end of July by appointment.

Lunch
Lunch and morning tea are only available on the days we are open.

For 2010

West Green House reopens on a regular basis in 2010, the highlight being the opening of the new "Five Bridges" garden.

The garden will be open to the public from Saturday 3rd April until Sunday 19th September on Wednesdays, Saturdays, Sundays and Bank holiday Mondays from 11.00am until 4.00pm

Prebooked coach parties welcome any day from 3rd April until 19th September.

The Alice in Wonderland Garden at West Green HouseLunch and morning tea are only available on the days we are open.

In the “Alice of Wonderland Garden” - choose from our selection of light lunches with salads made from our own organic garden vegetables.

 

The Perfect Afternoon Tea at West Green House Gardens

You can pre-book an afternoon tea for a special event, minimum group size 10 people.

Celebrate, entertain or just indulge with our traditional Afternoon Tea. Freshly baked scones with clotted cream, sandwiches, cakes served on a three tier stand with either tea or coffee for £12.50 plus garden entrance fee of £8. This service is available on all our open days.

Afternoon Tea is also available prior to the operas from 4-6pm.

Wheel chair access to most of the garden.

Ample free parking in the grounds.

Entry - Individuals and groups £8, May - August. Due to the results of inclement weather, parts of the Garden may be closed.

Directions from M3, exit 5 to Hook, to Mattingley, then turn right at the West Green Garden signs and follow these to the entrance. From M4, exit towards Basingstoke, take B3349 to Hook, Mattingley then left at West Green Garden signs and follow these to the entrance. Trains leave Waterloo Station for Winchfield station. Taxis are available for the seven minute drive from the station.

Garden Friends and Opera Patrons

Garden is open for our Garden Friends and Opera Patrons who are welcome to visit each Sunday 2-5pm from May to July. (Garden Friends and Patrons may bring one complimentary person per visit)
